After the information about the delay emerged, the administration of the "Karakol" ski resort denied rumors of a prolonged stoppage of the cable car.
"The stoppage lasted only 5-10 minutes, caused by the activation of the safety system sensor. In accordance with safety requirements, an inspection was conducted, after which the cable car operation was resumed. Such brief stoppages can occur for various reasons, including wind, voltage fluctuations, and sensor activation. This is a standard procedure to ensure safety," the official statement said.
