On December 6, the ski resort "Karakol" hosted the grand opening of the winter tourist season, timed to coincide with the national festival Jaryk Fest 2025.
According to the Department of Tourism, nearly 1,500 people attended the event.
As part of the cultural program, guests enjoyed performances by national ensembles, shayir apalars, as well as concerts by invited artists. One of the most memorable moments was the descent of instructors in national costumes with the State Flag of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The festival covered the panoramic track at an altitude of 3,040 meters, the western track (2,750 m), and the main area near the restaurant complex.
Jaryk Fest 2025 became an important first step towards establishing an annual tradition of winter events and developing ski tourism in Kyrgyzstan.
Throughout the day, various interactive activities and prize draws from partners were held, with performances by artists OBERON, AR1K, CAP, as well as a DJ program.
The festival concluded with a spectacular show and final fireworks.
