As part of the preparation for the VI World Nomad Games, it is planned to involve over 1,500 volunteers. This was reported by Nursultan Adenov, who heads the international secretariat of the WNG.
Adenov specified that the volunteers will be divided into two key groups. The first group will consist of about 600 people who will be part of the organizational team. The second group will comprise about a thousand people and will be responsible for the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as representing the performers of mass performances.
“Each of the 600 volunteers in the organizational group will perform specific tasks. These include volunteer attachés, assistants at sports venues, as well as those responsible for events and logistics,” he added.
The selection of volunteers will begin at the end of February, with a primary focus on finding candidates among university students in collaboration with the organizing committee of the Games.
According to the head of the international secretariat of the WNG, knowledge of foreign languages will be one of the main criteria during the selection process, so emphasis will be placed on students from higher educational institutions.
“A volunteer is someone who meets guests, and their appearance, manner of communication, and openness create the first impression not only of the event but also of the country as a whole,” noted Adenov.

He also emphasized that when selecting volunteers, attention will be paid to young people who can competently talk about the republic and the World Nomad Games, as well as those possessing critical thinking skills and the ability to handle stress.
After selection, volunteers will undergo training and receive uniforms.
