In connection with the preparation for the World Nomad Games and events within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Days of Kyrgyz Culture in several countries have been postponed to 2027. This was reported by the Minister of Culture, Mirbek Mambetaliev, in an interview with AKIpress.

The minister noted that many of his colleagues understand this change, and the Days of Kyrgyz Culture, for example, in Belarus and other countries, are planned for 2027.

In addition, Mirbek Mambetaliev spoke about the plans for the current year, including a trip to France for a theater festival and participation in the Biennale in Italy.

Speaking about international cultural cooperation, the minister cited the play "Semetey," which was created in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of Korea. According to Mambetaliev, this play, directed by a Korean director, reflects his unique perspective on the Kyrgyz epic.

"Some critics note that bottles and other elements were used in the play, but this is merely the interpretation of the Korean artist. Art has the right to diverse opinions, and I believe that sometimes it should provoke debate. Performances should evoke emotions in the audience," he emphasized.
