During the discussion, a deputy asked what damage had been inflicted on the state as a result of the destruction of numerous monuments, including fountains, mosaics, and memorials.
In response to the questions, Minister Mambetaliev noted that an analysis is currently being conducted in cooperation with law enforcement agencies. Additionally, under the president's directive, work is being carried out with Russian experts to protect cultural heritage.
Deputy Gulya Kozhokulova emphasized the need for proactive actions from the Ministry of Culture. She pointed out that the Bishkek city administration first demolishes objects and only then issues orders for collection and preservation, as happened with the recent fountain.
