“We presented the musical 'Raymaly and Begimai' in Bishkek 15 times, and each time the audience filled the hall to capacity. Recently, we showcased it in Moscow, and it also received rave reviews there! Although I was not present at the premiere, my deputy and the director of the philharmonic were there and returned with immense enthusiasm,” the minister shared.
Additionally, Mirbek Mambetaliev noted that the Toktogul Satylganov Philharmonic is currently working on a new project — the musical "Suymonkul," in which the main character will be the famous Kyrgyz actor and artist Suymonkul Chokmorov. The Ministry of Culture has allocated additional funds for this production.
“We plan to continue staging such performances and expanding our repertoire. One of our main tasks is to bring theater lovers back to the theaters,” added the head of the ministry.
