Viewers in Moscow and compatriots living in Russia responded positively to the musical
According to a statement from the press service of the Ministry of Culture, the team of the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after Toktogul Satylganov held a tour in Moscow, where an ethno-musical dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Chinghiz Aitmatov was presented.
The ethno-musical, based on the legend "Raymaly and Begimai" from the novel "And the Day Lasts More Than a Century," took place on December 14, 2025, at the Moscow concert hall.
At the cultural evening, welcoming words were delivered by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Russia, Kubanychbek Bokontaev, and the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy, Askaraly Madaminov. They emphasized the importance of cultural events that contribute to strengthening friendship between the peoples of the two countries, as stated in the message.
During the official part of the event, the president of the Chinghiz Aitmatov Foundation, Eldar Aitmatov, presented the "Chinghiz Aitmatov" medal to the general director of the National Philharmonic, People's Artist Kyrgyzbay Osmonov, and a Letter of Appreciation to the chief director Umutbek Kadyrov.
