According to information from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this award, which recognizes key achievements and directions in the field of tourism, is awarded annually and is considered one of the most prestigious awards in this area.
As a result of the expert voting, Kyrgyzstan was recognized as the best in the international nomination "Foreign Destination".
“In his speech, Ambassador Kubanychbek Bokontayev emphasized the importance of developing Kyrgyzstan's tourism potential and improving the quality of services provided. He noted that due to consistent actions and significant initiatives, the interest of foreign tourists in the country has significantly increased. Special attention was given to the development of the ski cluster and the implementation of significant projects, among which is the largest year-round resort of international level in Central Asia, 'Ala-Too Resort'. In conclusion, he invited everyone to visit Kyrgyzstan and become part of the VI World Nomad Games,” the press release states.
It should be noted that the Russian Traveler Awards is being held for the fourth time. This year, over 560 applications were submitted from 50 regions of Russia, as well as from CIS countries and other states. More than a million users participated in the voting across 22 nominations. In the "Foreign Destination" category, Kyrgyzstan competed with Belarus, South Korea, China, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Oman, Dubai, and other countries.
