This became possible thanks to the XVIII International Audience Award "Star of the Theater"
The award ceremony took place on December 15, 2025, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy.
Nominees for the award "Best Russian Theater Abroad" included theater groups from Kyrgyzstan, Spain, and Cyprus. The winner was determined by viewers from around the world through online voting.
The "Star of the Theater" award was established in 2008 and is the only independent award in the field of theatrical art in Russia, determined by audience voting. Laureates are chosen by a large audience from around the world via the internet.
Winners receive a porcelain statuette of a Mime, specially created for this award by the Dmitry and Elizabeth Kurganov studio in the Moscow region.
