The ethnic musical "Raymaly and Begimai" was showcased in Moscow.

On December 14, a performance of the ethno-musical "Raymaly and Begimai" took place in Moscow, inspired by the work of Chyngyz Aitmatov "And the Day Lasts More Than a Century."

According to information provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the production was realized by the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after T. Satylganov.

Kubanychbek Bokontayev, the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Russia, emphasized in his speech that this musical is an important step towards preserving and popularizing the cultural heritage of the Kyrgyz people. He also noted that the event opens a series of initiatives dedicated to the centenary of Chyngyz Aitmatov, which will be celebrated in 2028. Bokontayev highlighted that cultural exchange plays a key role in creating a harmonious world, as stated in the official message.

Among those present at the event were Kyrgyz citizens residing in Moscow, as well as diplomats, representatives of Russian government institutions and cultural agencies, and prominent figures from the world of art and culture.
