In Kyrgyzstan, a new cultural project called "Birimdik Kerbeni" is starting. This event is related to the preparation for the VI World Nomad Games and includes a national water relay, which aims to emphasize the importance of water and symbolize the unity of the people, as reported by the organizers.
The project will cover all regions of the country and engage Kyrgyz citizens in the preparation for this important international event.

Water resources are traditionally viewed by the Kyrgyz people as a symbol of life, purity, and spiritual continuity. In the context of the Games, water will become a symbol of renewal and unity.

By the end of 2025, warriors and prominent figures—elchilery—will be selected in the regions, and sacred water sources will be identified.

In June 2026, the first batyr will ascend to the glaciers of Khan-Tengri to fill the main jug of the country with water, which will then be kept in Bishkek as a symbol of national unity.

Each region will also fill its vessels with water from sacred sources and will open regional storage facilities.

By August 15, the batyrs will deliver their vessels to the capital, where they will be displayed in the main water storage.

The culmination of the project will take place on August 31, 2026, at the opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games, when waters from all regions and participating countries will unite in a single vessel, symbolizing harmony and mutual respect among peoples.
