Turmush continues to share stories of Kyrgyzstani people who have found their place abroad.

Alyna Alimbai kyzy, born on March 25, 2002, in Bishkek, currently lives in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where she works as a manicure master.

After receiving a diploma from Bishkek Medical College in the specialty of "midwifery," Alyna decided to radically change the direction of her career, choosing the beauty industry due to low earnings in medicine.

She completed her training in her new specialty in Bishkek and now has two years of work experience. She found her new job in Saudi Arabia on the advice of acquaintances and quickly started working when a vacancy opened up.

Riyadh is a modern and dynamically developing city where traditions are organically intertwined with high technologies, and safety and order are at a high level.

Local residents are generally polite and show respect to foreigners, especially if they adhere to their traditions, which undoubtedly improves mutual understanding.

Comparing it to Kyrgyzstan, Alyna noted the differences in mentality, pace of life, and attitude towards work—everything here is strictly regulated and subject to established rules. She was struck by the order, level of service, and variety of employment opportunities.

As for the work schedule, it is significantly different from that in Kyrgyzstan:

“We start working not early in the morning, but from 2 PM to 10 PM, and we work for eight hours. The salon provides all the necessary materials; we are only required to do our job,” Alyna shares.

She has also reached an important milestone in her life: she purchased housing in Kyrgyzstan with a mortgage. Although the payments are not yet completed, this is a significant step for her.

There were difficulties along the way. Upon arrival, she did not know English and could not answer simple questions, such as about her age. However, Alyna has now mastered the language.

Unfortunately, during her work, she developed an allergy to alcohol, and she consulted dermatologists; she is currently undergoing treatment.

Alyna also noted that there are few Kyrgyzstani people in Riyadh. During the first six months, she did not meet anyone, only in the seventh month did she get acquainted with her compatriots. Sometimes in the evenings and on weekends, they gather in Uyghur cafes.

In her free time, Alyna blogs, and in the future, she plans to open her own manicure school to teach girls this profession.
