Turmush continues to introduce readers to Kyrgyzstani individuals who have found themselves abroad. In the spotlight is 28-year-old Tatybubu Junusova, who works in Germany.

Her long-term goal is to organize the production of bio-dairy products in Kyrgyzstan using German technologies.

Tatybubu grew up in the village of Kok-Talaa, located in the Kadamjay district of the Batken region.

In an interview, she shared that she graduated from Osh Technological University with a degree in "Food Industry Engineering." "Our faculty offers the opportunity to intern in Germany. Some of my friends have already gone, and that inspired me. I started learning German in my third year, and in 2017, I went for an internship in a dairy workshop. I was welcomed very warmly, and we quickly found a common language," Tatybubu recalls.

Initially, she found it difficult due to the language barrier, but after taking language courses, she was able to adapt and find a job. "At first, I could only say 'yes' or 'no,' but I soon got used to it. Now I work at the same place where I interned, and my diploma from Kyrgyzstan was recognized," she adds.

Currently, Tatybubu works at a small company that produces cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, butter, and other dairy products. Recently, she suggested to her employers to start producing kurut. "I talked about our traditional product, and they supported my idea. Now we produce kurut, which is already being sold in markets across Asia. I'm sure this is the first case of Kyrgyz kurut being produced in Germany," she says proudly.

Tatybubu also noticed striking differences between the cultures of the two countries. "Germans are not as hospitable as we are. We have a tradition of respecting guests, inviting them, and treating them. In Germany, people are more serious and responsible; they strictly adhere to traffic rules and take their work very seriously," she explains.

Despite her successes in Germany, Tatybubu feels nostalgic for her homeland. "I miss my village very much. In the future, I plan to open my own production in Kyrgyzstan and produce bio-dairy products using German technologies," she shares her plans.

Additionally, she offered some advice to those considering moving to Germany. "I would recommend coming to the country for studies at major universities and learning the language, rather than coming for unqualified work. There are many opportunities for education abroad now," Tatybubu concludes.
