In 2020, he completed his studies at the boarding school-lyceum "Nookat bilimkanasy" and enrolled in the Kyrgyz National Agrarian University. He is expected to graduate as a veterinarian in 2025.
In his third year, Sardarbek began to think about his future plans and employment opportunities.
“I heard from my friend Omurbek Abdybapov about Denmark and decided that I wanted to try my luck in this country. I worked hard for two years, studied English, and took exams, and eventually, I was able to come here. I have been in Denmark for four months now,” he shared.
Sardarbek briefly described his work:
“At the moment, I am milking cows. Our farm has 1,200 Jersey breed dairy cows, and we use milking machines.”
He noted that the Danes are very kind, hardworking, and patient, and he was surprised by their simplicity. “In my opinion, the difference with Kyrgyzstan lies in the lack of depth in their faith,” he added.
Recalling a humorous incident, the veterinarian noted:
“When I first arrived in Denmark, I couldn’t buy a train ticket. I got on the train without a ticket and, seeing the conductors, tried to hide in the restroom. When I came out, they were already waiting for me. I explained that I couldn’t buy a ticket because I had just arrived, but unfortunately, I was fined.”
About 200 Kyrgyz live in Denmark. “We sometimes gather, celebrate holidays, and play together to avoid missing our homeland,” Sardarbek said.
He shared his plans for the future: “I want to gain work experience for five years, and then return to Kyrgyzstan to develop the agricultural sector.”
Sardarbek is the eldest in his family, and he has three younger brothers and two sisters.
