Love Story: Aiymmyrzu, living in Germany, and Shawn from the USA were united by Kyrgyzstan
She was born in 2003 in Kazarman and graduated from the 32nd school. She came to Germany through a student program and became a dental technician, completing her studies at a university in Münster.
Aiyimyrza shared the story of how she met Sean McDonald.
“Sean came to Germany for a summer job while I was studying there. I had a relative who worked as a nanny in his house, and she invited him over — that’s how we met,” she said.
Sean, born in 2004, lived in Kyrgyzstan until 2012, and then moved to the USA, where he continues to live.
Despite the fact that Sean worked two hours away from Aiyimyrza, he visited her every week. “A few days after he left, he wrote to me: ‘I love you,’” she added.
Aiyimyrza noted that Sean is a person with a balanced character. “I liked his plans for the future; next to him, I felt confident about a better tomorrow. He respects Kyrgyz traditions, religion, and family values, and accepts me as I am, contributing to my development,” she shared.
The parents of both young people support their relationship. At the moment, they have not yet registered their marriage, but they plan to have a wedding in Kyrgyzstan.
When Aiyimyrza first met Sean, her knowledge of English was limited. However, they managed to spend several hours communicating with the help of a translator and gestures. Thanks to this communication, she significantly improved her English skills. A month later, Sean visited Kyrgyzstan and met her family.
Sean does not strictly adhere to American traditions, as his parents lived in Kyrgyzstan for 14 years, and some Kyrgyz customs are still observed in their home.
Currently, Aiyimyrza is actively creating content on social media.
“I love learning new things, such as boxing, singing, and dancing. I dream of financial independence that will allow me to travel. I also want to share my experiences on social media to help others with similar goals. I hope to show the world the beauty of Kyrgyz nomadic culture and Kyrgyzstan as a whole. I dream of being a good mother,” she concluded.
