This time, the focus of the "Zhubaýlar" section is on Alla and Adilet Musabaev, residents of the city of Karakol, located in the Issyk-Kul region.

Alla, born in 1994, hails from the village of Issyk-Kul (formerly known as Mayak) in the Tyup district. She received her education at the Faculty of Tourism at K. Tynystanov University.

Currently, she and Adilet live in Karakol.

“Our meeting happened thanks to Adilet's classmate,” Alla recounts.

Adilet, born in 1986 in the village of Sary-Tologoy, is also from the Tyup district but grew up and studied in Karakol. At that time, he was working in Bishkek while Alla was studying in Karakol. After getting to know each other, they continued to communicate over the phone, and Adilet often joked that “bir küni alakasyp ketet” (“one day he would just steal her”), she shared.

The couple first met in June 2015.

“In September of the same year, Adilet introduced me to his mother, and then we met with my parents, and in October we got married,” Alla noted, adding that her parents accepted her choice calmly, although her mother had previously said, “You probably won’t marry a Russian.” “In my circle, there were mostly Kyrgyz,” she recounts.

The wedding ceremony took place in one of the cafes in Karakol, where they entered to the sounds of “zhar-zhar.”

“On the day of the wedding, I discovered that my things were left at the beauty salon, and I had to serve tea to the guests without a robe. The salon opened only at 10 AM, so I served tea in a bathrobe. My mother-in-law reminded me to remember the neighbors, saying that if I met them on the street, I should bow to them (‘jügünüş kerek’). I thought about how I would remember everyone,” Alla recounted.

Alla also recalled a funny incident from their family life:

“When my eldest daughter was little, she called me ‘apa’ and my husband ‘ata’. One day we were riding in a minibus, and when I walked to the back, she lost sight of me and shouted, ‘Apa, apa’. The whole minibus looked at me, and from that moment on, she started calling me ‘mama’. In my husband’s family, everyone speaks Russian, and I quickly got used to the new traditions. I love their hospitality and respect for elders,” she added.

In her free time, Alla enjoys cooking additional dishes, such as baking, and she has a small online business.

The couple has three children: two daughters and a son.

The eldest daughter is 8 years old, the next one is 5, and their son is 3 years old. In the future, they dream of building a big house and traveling a lot together, wishing to meet old age in love and harmony,” concluded A. Musabaeva.
