A new couple in the "Zhubaylar" section - Dzhuparkul Barkhitova, representing Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyz Salmoorbek Shadiev.
Dzhuparkul, born on August 2, 1962, in the village of Ozyornoye, grew up in a large family where her mother raised five children. "My eldest son is already 43, and my youngest daughter will turn 14 this year. I graduated from a technical school in construction, but throughout my life, I have been engaged in household chores. Since 1996, I have been working in the local electoral commission, starting as a committee member. Every election is unique, and I have always enjoyed communicating with elderly people, finding common ground with them. The preparation for the last elections was particularly difficult due to the new option - voting from anywhere in the district. We expected fewer voters, but more people showed up than anticipated. We have a wonderful team in the Alamedin district, and observers from the OSCE were involved in the process," she shares.

Dzhuparkul also shared the story of how she met Salmoorbek. "The father of my children is Kyrgyz, and I am Kazakh. All our children grew up educated and close-knit," she noted.

She managed to meet her future husband in 1980 when she was hurrying to an exam. "He stopped on the road, offering to give me a ride. From the first moments of our conversation, I noticed that he was polite and well-mannered - that attracted me," recalls Dzhuparkul. They exchanged addresses and soon became husband and wife. At that time, weddings were not as lavish as they are now. "We simply gathered with family, received blessings from the elders, and held a modest celebration," she added.

The couple has faced many hardships, including the tough 90s when food was scarce. "We endured, thanks to the support of our parents, who helped us with food," Dzhuparkul recounts.

"For a strong family, mutual understanding and support for each other are important. I was a calm leader in our home. My secret is that I first agreed, analyzed the situation, and then gently guided the decisions," she shares.

Her passion is cooking. "I love experimenting with new dishes. I dream of visiting Vietnam and its unexplored corners," concluded Dzhuparkul.
