Aleiy works as an educator in a kindergarten named Kümöndöra Tynalieva. She was born in 1983 in the village of Ak-Zhar and later received her education at Naryn State University after graduating from the Janalieva school.
“My name was chosen by my father's younger brother, Tashtanbek Siyaev, who returned from studying in Russia. It turned out that there is a river named Aleiy in Russia. But that's not all; there was once a well-known and educated woman named Aleiy, and my uncle hoped that I would become as successful as she was,” Mongoldorova shared her memories.
Her father, Zarylbek Mongoldorov, worked as a dentist all his life.
“When I got married, my husband's relatives took a long time to get used to my name and kept asking about it. We lived for many years in a city where newcomers from Osh and Jalal-Abad were surprised and laughed when they heard my name,” she noted.
“Sometimes acquaintances from At-Bashi still ask about my name, but overall, they have gotten used to it. My name is indeed rare and unusual,” Aleiy added.
She is now married and raising two children—a son and a daughter.
- Aleiy is a river in the Altai Krai of Russia, a left tributary of the Ob.
