Turmush continues to share stories of Kyrgyzstani people who work, study, and live abroad.

Janailai Suimanova lives and works in Saudi Arabia, where she is gaining experience in participating in international events.

Suimanova was born on February 16, 2003, in the village of Blagoveshchenka in the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region and grew up there. The youngest of four daughters in the family, she has a younger brother. "My father worked in the internal affairs department with the rank of lieutenant colonel, and my mother was an accountant. I began my educational journey at secondary school No. 16 named after Elman Arapbaev in the city of Jalal-Abad and graduated from 9th grade with honors (red certificate). From 2018 to 2021, I received an education in the field of 'Foreign Languages - Translation' at the college of the International University named after K.Sh. Toktomamatov and successfully completed it," the girl recounts.

According to Janailai, Saudi Arabia is a country that deeply practices Islam, characterized by a unique culture and social order. "In this country, women wear long black clothing, and alcoholic beverages are prohibited in public. This order and religious environment were among the main reasons for my agreement to work. Firstly, I wanted to practice my Muslim faith more deeply and get closer to a pious life. Secondly, I was offered a high salary and opportunities for professional growth. Not to stand still in life, but always to seek new experiences and develop myself is one of my core principles.

After a successful experience in Qatar, I aimed to gain new perspectives in another country. Initially, I aimed for Europe, but by the will of the Almighty, my sustenance turned out to be in Saudi Arabia. I never regret this choice. In the month of Ramadan in 2025, I was fortunate to perform the pilgrimage to the Kaaba in Mecca and also had the opportunity to visit Medina, Jeddah, and other cities. I began performing namaz in Qatar, but here I started to perform all 5 daily prayers regularly and with deep understanding. Both religiously and spiritually, this country opened up a great path for me that profoundly changed me. I am now on a path of growth and development in Saudi Arabia. This country has a great future, many opportunities, and I am enriching my experience by utilizing these opportunities. At the same time, returning to my homeland, Kyrgyzstan, is my cherished desire. I want to direct the accumulated experience, knowledge, and spiritual wealth towards the future of Kyrgyz youth," she reported.

As Suimanova says, she has been working in Arab countries since she was 19. "My first international work experience began at the 5-star Marriott Marquis Doha Hotel in the State of Qatar. While working there, I participated in a number of globally significant events. These include major international events such as the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the AFC Asian Cup 2023, and EXPO 2023. These events allowed me to accumulate valuable experience in organizing large-scale events and working with multinational guests. During my 1 year and 6 months of work in Qatar, I closely collaborated with citizens of the USA, the UK, China, and other English-speaking countries. As a result, I achieved a good level of proficiency in English and developed my professional communication skills. Especially in 2022, when tourists flooded in from all over the world, my experience in intercultural communication with guests enriched, and I found my way to mastering international service standards," the girl shared.

Janailai believes that every new beginning, if you try, inevitably leads to success. "When I first arrived in Qatar, my English was very poor – I fully realized this when I found myself in an environment where English dominated. On my first day of work, my manager met me at the airport. While we were driving to my new place of residence, he asked various questions and tried to converse. I could only respond to questions like 'Which country did you come from?' and 'How old are you?' and just smiled. This was one of my first moments of embarrassment. The most interesting part began when I started working.

My colleague, who was training me, and my manager explained my job responsibilities to me. Every time they spoke, it seemed I understood everything and just said, 'Okay,' 'Okay.' Later, I learned that there were many questions in their words. Not understanding the questions, I simply replied 'okay.' I was told about this incident, laughing, 6 months later, when I had already mastered the English language well and could communicate freely. I used to think I would be embarrassed about it, but now every time I recall this story, I am proud of myself instead. Because I was not afraid to face difficulties, I tried to stay positive, and as a result, I was able to achieve significant progress in a short time. This became a great lesson for me – even if you lack knowledge at the beginning, with intention, diligence, and patience, you can achieve anything," the Kyrgyz woman recounts.

According to Suimanova, her biggest goal for the future is to justify the trust of her parents who raised her and to join the ranks of people who bring benefit to the Kyrgyz people. "I believe that the knowledge and experience gained abroad only acquire full value when we return to our land and serve our people. Therefore, my intention is to convey to the youth of Kyrgyzstan how important education, science, and learning languages are. While I am starting this journey by sharing my experience, I dream of turning it into a larger project in the future – for example, an educational program for youth or a mentoring platform. In Kyrgyzstan, the youth are talented and capable, but there is always a need for the right mentors and inspiring examples. I want to be one of them. If there are more young people striving for knowledge, taking responsibility, and serving the people – our future will undoubtedly be bright," she said.

On social media, Janailai shares her thoughts, observations about life, and experiences accumulated during her work abroad daily. "I also try to give advice in video format based on what I have seen, known, and experienced. This hobby helps me understand everyday life more deeply, strengthen my connection with the world around me, and motivate others. Each video is a reflection of my inner world, my thoughts, and hopes. And where this hobby will lead me in the future – only the Almighty knows," she reported.
