Helicopter Sent to the Sary-Kyr Pass to Rescue Driver: He Froze to Death

At the Sary-Kyr pass in the Jalal-Abad region, a man died from freezing cold, sources reported to Turmush.

According to them, the body has been delivered to Jalal-Abad.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a helicopter from the agency was dispatched to the scene today to evacuate the body.

According to available information, on November 5, a 30-year-old citizen K.E. got stuck in his car in snowdrifts and called for help.

According to a correspondent, K.E. was a resident of the city of Tash-Kumyr and worked as a translator for Chinese specialists involved in the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway.

Yesterday, four rescuers, four police officers, and local authorities with equipment went to the scene.

Today, 28 people were involved in the search and rescue operations, including 16 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Six units of equipment were also dispatched.

According to a correspondent, K.E. was a resident of the city of Tash-Kumyr and worked as a translator for Chinese specialists involved in the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway.

The Jalal-Abad regional emergency management office reported that information regarding the incident is being clarified.

It was previously reported that the head of the Jalal-Abad regional emergency management office, Colonel Ch. Shekenov, held an operational meeting and ordered the additional deployment of two heavy engineering vehicles for road clearing.
