Assistance to the population was organized on January 17-18 in response to a sharp deterioration in weather conditions, making it extremely necessary.
“By order of the head of the district internal affairs department, Colonel of Police Talgara Mambetkaziev, officers are patrolling areas and internal streets, providing help to people who find themselves in difficult situations. In particular, they are involved in transporting the homeless to temporary shelters located in the city of Kara-Balta, as well as supporting drivers and pedestrians to protect them from the cold and various emergency situations. Additionally, special attention is being paid to road safety — control over compliance with rules in dangerous areas is being intensified, and traffic accident prevention is being carried out,” the official statement says.
As part of this initiative, three mobile groups have been created to monitor the situation in all rural areas of the district.
