
Negotiations of Deputy Minister of Economy Sultan Akhmatov with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany
Sultan Akhmatov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce, held a meeting with Niklas Wagner, the authorized representative of the German Foreign Ministry for Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia, as well as with Monica Lenhardt, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Germany to Kyrgyzstan.
The main focus during the negotiations was on attracting investments from Germany into the economy of Kyrgyzstan. The participants discussed possible ways to deepen trade and economic ties and implement joint initiatives in industry and other key sectors.
Special attention was given to issues of youth training, including the development of vocational training programs with the involvement of German partners. Aspects of the green economy were also discussed, emphasizing the parties' interest in implementing environmentally sustainable projects and integrating modern technologies.
As a result of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to further deepen economic cooperation and continue dialogue on specific investment initiatives. The negotiations took place in a constructive atmosphere and opened new prospects for Kyrgyz-German partnership.
