The loan will be provided to OJSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz" as budget support.
The OPEC Fund for International Development has decided to allocate 30 million dollars to support the budget of Kyrgyzstan. This loan has a repayment period of 20 years, with a grace period for the first 5 years and a fixed interest rate of 1.25%.
According to information, the funds received will be directed by the Cabinet of Ministers as a budget loan for the modernization of the oil refinery owned by OJSC "Kyrgyzneftegaz".
The draft law on obtaining this loan was approved by the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on international affairs, defense, security, and migration in the second reading.
