An online meeting was held at the ministry to exchange experiences
The online meeting, organized by the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, brought together Kyrgyz medical specialists working in various countries, including Germany, the USA, the UK, and Russia, as well as in the Middle East. The event was led by Deputy Ministers Bakytbek Kadyraliyev and Temirbek Erkinov, as reported by the ministry's press service.
The main goal of the meeting was to exchange professional experiences, discuss international medical practices, training of personnel, and the digitalization of the healthcare system, as well as to explore opportunities for compatriots working abroad to participate in the development of healthcare in Kyrgyzstan.
Specialists shared their experiences working in leading medical institutions and proposed ideas for improving domestic healthcare. Topics discussed included the implementation of modern technologies (including bronchoscopy and NGS diagnostics), digitalization of processes, enhancement of oncology, pulmonology, transplantation, and anesthesiology services, as well as issues related to hemodialysis, mobile clinics, simplification of licensing, and training of doctors.
Most of the proposals concerned personnel issues. Participants expressed their readiness to support the training of Kyrgyz doctors, organize internships, conduct lectures and presentations with expert reports, as well as attract professors for surgeries and master classes. The meeting also discussed conditions that would facilitate the return of specialists to Kyrgyzstan and their participation in professional projects.
