Kyrgyzstan and Austria discussed the issue of opening a tourism school at Issyk-Kul
According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Education, Kyrgyzstan and Austria held discussions regarding the establishment of a tourism school at Issyk-Kul.

During the video conference, led by Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva, there was an exchange of views with representatives of the Austrian Agency for Economic Cooperation and Development, including Dorothea Auer, as well as Michael Matiashitz from the Federal Ministry of Finance of Austria, Klessheim Tourism College, and the Austrian Technology Corporation.

The main focus was on issues of cooperation in the field of vocational and technical education, training specialists in the railway sector, technology transfer, and the establishment of a tourism school in the Issyk-Kul region.

The meeting also addressed aspects of organizing the educational process in the direction of winter tourism and winter sports, stages of infrastructure development, possible renovations of buildings, the implementation of Austrian teaching methods, and best international practices.
