According to the new rules of the National Bank, citizens are required to explain the source of their funds.
Today, January 29, during a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Gulya Kozhokulova expressed her dissatisfaction regarding the requirement for banks and exchange points to provide proof of the origin of funds for exchanges of 100,000 soms or more.
She noted: "Currently, there are salaries like this. For example, in the Ministry of Construction, the salary is 500,000 soms. So, it turns out that to exchange currency, one must provide some additional documents. What is the purpose of such restrictions? Is it really related to privatization?"
Kozhokulova urged her colleagues to discuss this issue and consider the possibility of lifting these restrictions.
