A new social project has been implemented in Kyrgyzstan, initiated within the framework of the state social order, aimed at supporting women and girls who have become victims of domestic violence and human trafficking. An important part of this project is the 24/7 hotline 5200.
The Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced that this hotline has been created to provide prompt, free, and confidential assistance to victims. Calls to the number 5200 can be made anonymously, from anywhere in the country, and from any mobile operator.
The hotline is staffed by qualified psychologists and counselors who have undergone special training in crisis situations and psychological assistance. The line is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Those who call can expect psychological support, information on measures to protect their rights, consultations on temporary asylum, as well as medical and legal assistance. Additionally, support is also provided to relatives and witnesses of violence.
