
Citizens can expect free and anonymous assistance by calling a special number
The Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced the launch of a new social project aimed at helping women and girls who have experienced domestic violence and become victims of human trafficking.
According to information from the ministry, a 24-hour hotline is now available at the number 5200, which will provide prompt and quality assistance to victims of violence and human trafficking.
The ministry stated, "By calling 5200, anyone can receive free, anonymous, and confidential assistance. The hotline is staffed by experienced psychologists and consultants who have undergone special training on issues of violence and crisis situations," they added.
The hotline operates around the clock, without weekends, and is accessible to all residents of Kyrgyzstan through all mobile operators.
The main areas of work for the hotline include:
• providing psychological support to victims of violence and exploitation;
• offering information about available services and measures to protect the rights of victims;
• consultations on safe shelter, medical, and legal assistance;
• support for relatives and witnesses of violence cases.
The ministry emphasized: "Every call matters. If you have become a victim of violence or have witnessed such incidents, do not hesitate to call 5200."
