A lecture on the art of Japan will take place at the IZO Museum.

On January 31, a lecture dedicated to Japanese visual art will take place at the National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev.

According to the museum's information, participants will be able to familiarize themselves with the works of famous Japanese artists and key stages in the development of art, including such genres as ukiyo-e prints.

“At the event, we will showcase works that reflect the Japanese spirit, from ancient traditions to modern forms such as anime,” the statement notes.

The lecture is part of a course on the history of world art and will be conducted by the museum's leading researcher, art historian Akzhibek Beishebayeva.
