
The Ministry of Labor identified 1,885 violations of the Labor Code
In 2025, there were 63 fatal accidents at production sites in Kyrgyzstan. This data was presented by the Service for Control and Supervision of Compliance with Labor Legislation under the Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration.
According to information from the service, 28 inspectors conducted 1,173 inspections, resulting in the recording of 1,885 violations of the norms of the Labor Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of industrial incidents, 161 people were injured, of whom 94 sustained serious injuries, and 63 died. The total amount of fines imposed was 8.838 million soms, of which 6.936 million soms were paid. Families of the deceased workers received 111 million soms as compensation.
