Construction of 20 new schools has begun in Bishkek

The Ministry of Construction of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced the start of the construction of 20 schools in Bishkek, providing a detailed list of their locations: 6 facilities will be built in the Oktyabrsky district, 6 in the Leninsky district, 5 in the Pervomaysky district, and 3 in the Sverdlovsky district.

On January 31, Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services Nurdin Oruntaev, along with the heads of the relevant departments, reviewed the projects for new social facilities and construction sites in the capital.

The Minister carefully studied the project documentation and construction sites, giving instructions to the heads of the departments. Currently, work has already begun on the first phase of construction.

It is worth noting that in Bishkek, the number of students significantly exceeds the projected capacity of existing schools. Therefore, the Ministry of Construction has approved the design and estimate documents for 20 new educational institutions and has begun their implementation. Funding for social facilities is provided from the republican budget.
