In an interview with the publication 24.kg, Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov confidently stated that medical institutions in Kyrgyzstan will be able to meet the standards of hospitals in the Czech Republic and Turkey.

He noted that there have been changes in the Ministry of Health, and now a new team is working there under the leadership of a new minister.

“We will not be able to change everything in five years, but in ten years every district hospital, polyclinic, and central institution will be no worse than those in the Czech Republic or Turkey. We will provide them with modern equipment and highly qualified medical assistance in comfortable conditions,” added Edil Baisalov, emphasizing that this will be an important step towards changing the overall perception of life in the country.

It should be noted that currently, Kyrgyz hospitals lack the necessary medical equipment and medicines, and there are often long queues in the institutions.

Additionally, the authorities have planned the creation of a medical city in Bishkek, where the leading healthcare institutions of the country will be relocated. Currently, efforts are being made to find partners for the implementation of this project.
