Deputy Elvira Surabaldiyeva asked whether the salaries of the Ministry of Defense employees had been increased. In response, the agency's spokesperson confirmed that salaries had indeed risen by 100 percent and noted that the salary amount depends on the length of service and the position of the military personnel.
It is also worth noting that the deputies at this meeting reviewed and approved amendments to the codes on non-tax revenues and offenses, as well as to the Law on Universal Military Duty of Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and military alternative service in the first reading.
