An avalanche struck the Jylgyr pasture in the Kara-Kulja district
Rescue operations in the Kara-Kulja district led to the discovery of a man's body, who died as a result of the avalanche. This information was provided by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The search was conducted at the Jylgyr pasture.
The tragic incident occurred on January 31, when a group of hunters from among the local residents went to the pasture. At that time, a snow avalanche descended, and one of the men was caught under its debris.
The search and rescue operation involved 229 people. Among them were 19 rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who used a drone, as well as personnel from the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, representatives of local authorities, and local residents, who were engaged along with special equipment.
