
The future changes in the parking payment system of the capital were announced by the director of the municipal enterprise "City Road Transport Infrastructure," Bakai Asylbek uulu, at a joint meeting of the factions "Emgek" and "Zhány Kүch" in the city council.
According to Asylbek uulu, there are currently 3,221 parking spaces in Bishkek. The city is actively implementing a pilot project that involves the introduction of QR codes for parking payment.
At the moment, this payment system is already functioning on the section from Bokonbaeva Street to Jibek Jolu Avenue, the director added.
He also emphasized that QR codes will be installed throughout the city to eliminate the need for parking attendants.
