The chairman of the court, Nurlan Kozhomberdiev, imposed a ban on audio recording of the session for media representatives. One journalist attempted to clarify the legal grounds for this ban, but the judge ignored the question and removed him from the courtroom.
Tilekmat's lawyer, Asel Argymbaeva, reported that during the session, the defense submitted four motions: one concerned allowing journalists into the courtroom for audio and video recording of the proceedings, the second aimed at excluding the political expert examination from the evidence, and the third was a request for the provision of documents related to the case to verify the competence of political expert Janishbek uulu A. However, three of these motions were rejected by the court.
Nevertheless, the motion to extend the time for familiarization with the materials of the criminal case was granted.
The next session is scheduled for February 13.
Recall that on April 19, Tilekmat Kudaybergen uulu was brought from the UAE to Bishkek by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB). The special services claim that while abroad, he actively published provocative content on social media, calling for the organization of mass riots and the violent seizure of power. On April 21, the Pervomaisky District Court chose a preventive measure of arrest for Tilekmat.
