The official confirmation of the participation of the Kyrgyz women's national team in the 2026 Asian Cup has been received from the country's Volleyball Federation. The tournament will take place from June 6 to 14 in the Philippines.
This success was made possible by the impressive results of the team in the Central Asian Volleyball Association (CAVA) Nations League, where the Kyrgyz women secured third place.
In the Asian Cup, 12 teams will participate, which will be divided into four groups. Only the top two teams from each group will advance to the "Final Four," while the others will occupy places from 5th to 12th.
Currently, the Kyrgyz women's national team ranks 10th in the Asian ranking and 62nd in the world.
