The State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, in collaboration with the Triathlon Federation of Kyrgyzstan, has announced the launch of a socially-oriented sports reality show called "Jany Jol" (New Path). The goal of the project is to break stereotypes about "office" life and showcase the transformation of ordinary civil servants into real athletes.
The show aims to engage civil servants in active sports activities, illustrating their journey from initial attempts to successfully completing a serious distance. The program will last for six and a half months, during which viewers will be able to follow the participants' preparation, culminating in their performance at the Amateur Asian Triathlon Cup, which will take place on September 13.
Ten individuals will be selected to participate in the project from various state and municipal institutions. Candidates must meet certain criteria: ages between 28 and 38, a minimum of five years of experience in civil service, and no professional sports background. Participants must also be willing to undergo intensive training at least three times a week and complete a mandatory medical examination.
The training will be documented on camera and broadcast in a series format under the slogan "From the Office to Victory." Applications will be accepted from February 2 to 15, followed by a competitive selection process from February 16 to 18. The official start of filming and training is scheduled for March 1.
