Residents of Kok-Zhar express their concern about the upcoming construction of the Southern Bypass Road in Bishkek.

As noted by deputy Dastan Bekeshev, local residents fear that the new road may intersect their residential homes and agricultural lands. A meeting was organized to discuss this issue, attended by representatives of the akimat, investors, architects, and specialists from the Ministry of Transport.

It is worth noting that the city hall previously indicated that the implementation of the Southern Bypass Road project would begin only after the general plan of the city is approved. The road is planned to start from the western side near the car market and will pass through Kuntuu, Baytik, Zarechnoye, Besh-Kungey, the "Ala-Too" state farm, and Novopokrovka.
