According to the deputy, the elevators in the institution are in an emergency state, and it is cold in the wards. The need for repairs also affects the windows and doors.
“Every year, about 15,000 people undergo rehabilitation in Vorontsovka. This is a unique institution where highly qualified specialists work. It is important to ensure the necessary conditions for both work and treatment,” noted Gulsunkan Junushalieva.
She called on the Minister of Health to visit the resort and assess the current situation. Previously, committee members recommended that the ministry take measures to update the institute's equipment, carry out major repairs, improve the quality of services provided, and increase staff salaries.
The building of the medical institution was constructed in 1984 and has not undergone major repairs since then.
