The major renovation of the building housing the city hall and the representation of the President of Kyrgyzstan in the Osh region has begun.
The city hall reported that the building has been transferred to the municipal property management from the State Property Fund.
Under the initiative of Mayor Jengishbek Toktorbaev, the renovation work has commenced. The first phase includes updating the facade and completely replacing the roof.
The building has not undergone major renovations for nearly 70 years since its construction.
The ongoing work aims to create modern and comfortable conditions for both employees and visitors of the government institutions located in this administrative building.
