
Pavel Desyatnikov, known as a former deputy of the Bishkek City Council, passed away at the age of 65. His relatives confirmed the information about his death.
Pavel Desyatnikov was born on October 26, 1961, in Bishkek. Throughout his political career, he served as a deputy of the Bishkek City Council three times: in 2008, he was elected as an independent candidate, and from 2012 to 2016, he represented the Social Democratic Party of Kyrgyzstan (SDPK). In 2017, he was re-elected, this time from the party "Mekenim Kyrgyzstan".
From 2012 to 2016, Desyatnikov held the position of chairman of the permanent commission of the city council, where he oversaw issues related to housing and communal services, transportation, the energy complex, and investments. In 2019, he was forced to resign from his deputy position early due to health reasons.
In the spring of 2019, he was awarded the title of "Honorary Citizen of Bishkek".
