A part of the land of the State Residence will be allocated for the construction of social facilities

A school, sports complex, and clinic will be built on the 10-hectare area

A draft law concerning the lifting of the ban on allocating land owned by state bodies is currently under consideration in the Jogorku Kenesh.

The need for this arose after residents of the village of Chon-Aryk, which borders the State Residence, appealed to President Sadyr Japarov for assistance in addressing the shortage of educational institutions. In response, the president instructed to allocate 10.48 hectares of land for the construction of a school, clinic, and sports complex.

These social facilities, along with the allocated land, will be transferred to the management of the ayil okmotu.

It should be noted that the committee on constitutional legislation, state structure, local self-government, and the Regulations of the Jogorku Kenesh has already approved this draft law in the first reading.
