The press service of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) reported the exposure of corruption schemes related to the illegal enrollment of cadets in driving schools.

Currently, work is underway to identify all participants in this corruption scheme, as well as to annul driver's licenses obtained illegally.

We remind you that in November 2025, Kanibek Tumanbaev, the chief of staff of the President of Kyrgyzstan, stated that private driving schools would be transferred to state management. According to the new rules, training for obtaining a category B license will take 10 months, while for category C it will take 12 months.

On January 29, the president signed a decree to suspend the activities of private driving schools.

As of February 10, enrollment in state driving schools has begun.
