The demand for trips has increased due to the renewal of luxury, VIP, and "VIP-compartment" carriages, as well as the extension of the route to the "Balykchy Beach" stop. In 2025, the Bishkek — Balykchy route served 116,122 passengers, which is a 131% increase compared to the previous year.
From 2022 to 2025, Kyrgyzstan welcomed 27 tourist trains arriving from Europe, America, and Asia.
The company confirmed that it plans to continue modernizing its rolling stock, improving service quality, and digitizing: tickets can now be purchased through the website ticket.railway.kg and the railway.kg app.
