They were previously detained for 15 days for insulting women
A new complaint has been filed in Almaty against Russian bloggers Anar Abdullayev and Renatko, demanding that they be held criminally liable for inciting interethnic hatred, local police department reported.
These streamers had already been detained for 15 days and were forced to apologize for their offensive remarks towards Kazakh women during a broadcast.
The initiator of the complaint is activist Dias Kuzairov, who believes that administrative measures are insufficient. He noted that the bloggers had previously committed similar offenses, including public insults based on nationality and the use of derogatory expressions.
“By their actions, they have humiliated the honor and dignity of the Kazakh people on a national basis, which could lead to an increase in interethnic tension. Their public statements are aimed at inciting interethnic strife,” Kuzairov's statement said.
The activist calls for an examination of their statements made on air.
