In the Jaiyl district of the Chuy region, the search for a man who went missing under a snow avalanche in the Boroondoo area has been temporarily suspended. This decision was made due to darkness and unfavorable weather conditions.

According to information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES), on February 12, an avalanche covered a 59-year-old man named D.A. He was at the pasture with 50 sheep and one horse at that time.

By the order of the Minister of Emergency Situations, on February 13 at 03:00, 24 rescuers from various units and structures of the MES joined the search efforts.

During the operation, the bodies of 10 sheep were found, but the man has not yet been located.

The rescuers spent the night in a shepherds' house located five kilometers from the site of the avalanche. Search operations will continue on February 14.
