According to the decision of the Council of Fatwas of the Muftiates of the Organization of Turkic States, the fast of Orozо will begin on February 19 (Thursday). In mosques, the Taraweeh prayer, a special prayer performed only during the month of Orozо, will take place in the evening on February 18.
This decision was made at a meeting held in Samarkand.
The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan confirmed that Muslims will start fasting on February 19.
