According to official data, B.B. was detained in the correctional facility "Boone County Jail," located in the state of Kentucky.
Employees of the General Consulate of the Kyrgyz Republic in Chicago have already met with the detainee, providing him with the necessary legal consultations to protect his rights and interests.
Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs previously organized meetings with B.B.'s relatives and a representative of his trucking company in Kyrgyzstan to discuss further actions and legal support.
Currently, law enforcement agencies in Kentucky continue to conduct investigative actions.
The General Consulate maintains an active dialogue with the administration of the correctional facility, as well as with local units of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the detainee's relatives. The situation is under the control of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and its diplomatic missions in the United States.
