The deputy director of the municipal enterprise "City Road Transport Infrastructure," Talaybek Aseinov, reported that the deputies had been informed about the list of car dealerships and their activities.
He added that all car dealerships had been given notifications about the inadmissibility of using parking lots for purposes other than intended. In case of ignoring these warnings, the closure of such car dealerships is planned. "Parking lots must function as parking spaces," Aseinov stated, specifying that the owners have five days to rectify the situation.
Kazybek Ergeshov emphasized that 15 parking lots are being used for car sales, although they only pay for 19-20 cars. In reality, there are more than 100-150 cars for sale in such places. This creates additional problems, as there is a shortage of parking spaces in the city, and drivers leave their cars along the roads, causing traffic jams. "You still haven't terminated a single contract with the car dealerships," the deputy noted, addressing Aseinov.
It also became clear that the municipal enterprise "City Road Transport Infrastructure" had not even signed agreements with some car dealerships.
The deputy demanded that the issue be resolved by the next commission meeting.
